Maryam Majlesi is a mixed-media artist based in Newmarket, Ontario. Her work explores the intersection of texture, color, and cultural heritage, blending traditional calligraphy with contemporary mixed-media techniques.
With a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and detail, Maryam creates original artwork that transforms spaces and tells stories. Each piece is carefully crafted using layers of acrylic, gold leaf, plaster, and other materials to achieve rich, tactile surfaces.
Beyond creating art, Maryam is passionate about teaching. She offers classes and workshops that make art accessible to everyone, regardless of experience level.
Artistic Philosophy
